Description:The Fountain formerly stood at the junction of Hagley Road and Sandon Road, Edgbaston, during the late Victorian and Edwardian periods. The photograph was taken in 1892. This strikingly slender structure with its elaborate Gothic ornamentation must have made quite an impact on visitors seeing it for the first time.
