Description:I was born in Lee Crescent in 1931. Lee Crescent ran parallel with Lee Bank Road; there was no Lee Bank area like today. One side of Lee Crescent and Lee Mount was demolished to make way for the Lee Bank project. The other side of Lee Crescent still exists, being mostly Georgian buildings and having a preservation order on them.
