Description:Shakespeare Road, Ladywood, on the occasion of the street party held to mark the coronation of King George VI in 12 May 1937. A good time is clearly being had by all, everyone no doubt pleased to have got this far after the Abdication crisis of the previous year had stunned the nation. Shakespeare Road, now no more, joined Monument Road opposite Cope Street
