Description:Blythe Street, Ladywood, in a photograph probably taken in the 1960s before redevelopment. The photographer was apparently standing outside the unusually-named Vesper Bell public house on the corner of Ledsam Street. Blythe Street no longer exists but formerly ran from Ledsam Street to Ladywood Road.
