Description:St John's School, Ladywood, on the corner of St Mary Street and Johnstone Street. The school began as St John's National School in 1857. This photograph was taken in 1960, but buildings and streets have both disappeared beneath the traffic island where Icknield Port Road meets Ladywood Middleway.
