Description:Inside the Children's Hospital, Broad Street, Birmingham. The Birmingham and Midland Free Hospital for Sick Children, on the corner of Sheepcote Street, was originally founded in 1862 and remained in this building from 1869 to 1917, when it moved to what is now Ladywood Middleway. Since then it has moved again, in 1998, to Steelhouse Lane. In this early 20th-century postcard view the hospital is presumably decorated for Christmas.
