Date:10th of February 1941

Description:Destruction in Grant Street, Lee Bank, caused by enemy action on 19th November 1940. 80 houses were demolished and 200 others badly damaged. Five people were killed and A.R.P. Warden Henry Pickering was awarded the B.E.M. for his devotion to duty. The photograph was taken on 10 February 1941. This devastation also affected Bell Barn Road and Great Colmore Street.
