Description:View of Edgbaston Reservoir, from a postcard. The view is looking south along the dam, with the 1870 tower of the waterworks on the skyline to the right and the bulky outline of Osler Street School on the left. The reservoir was created by Thomas Telford in the 1820s by damming Ladywood Brook and was intended to act as a water supply for the canal system.
