Description:Postcard view of Edgbaston Reservoir, looking eastwards beside the boat houses. The costumes suggest an Edwardian date, and the picture suggests to what extent the reservoir was a playground for local people. One or two of the children appear to be fishing, but the slight tinting does not disguise the smoking chimneys of Birmingham in the background.
