Description:Industrial premises at 63 Great Hampton Street, Hockley. The signs over the shop window advertise 'W.J. Clarke. Authorised plumber, gas fitter, zinc worker, &c' and 'E. Swan. Brooch tongues, watch bows, joints & catches, jewellers materials'. In directories of around 1900 Mr Clarke is at 63 Great Hampton Street but Mr Swan and several other men involved in small-scale metal trades are all at number 63 1/2.
