Date:15th of November 1960

Description:The junction of Summer Hill Street, Ladywood, and Nelson Street (on the right). In this photograph, taken on 15 November 1960, the sun shows up the stone setts with which the streets are surfaced and which would soon be disappearing as the area was redeveloped. In the right foreground is one of the Trojan vans that were a familiar sight on our streets in the 1950s. Just in the picture on the right is the Catholic Apostolic Church in Summer Hill Terrace.
