Description:This island lies between Holloway Head, The Horsefair and Smallbrook Queensway. It contains a mosaic of The Horsefair in its heyday and a plaque to Councillor Thomas for whom the Thomas Gardens on the island are named after. It was also the home of Hebe - a statue which was stolen for a time and has since been relocated outside the Children's Hospital. In the background of the photograph can be seen the recently completed Cleveland Tower.
