Description:Under the heading 'Serious accident at Birmingham' this print illustrates the scene that resulted when the Worcester and Birmingham Canal burst on Sunday morning, 26 May 1872. Considerable damage was caused to properties in Gough Road, Pakenham Road and Charlotte Road.
