Date:1839

Description:Detail from a much larger plan of Birmingham by J. Henshall. This section of the plan includes part of the Ladywood area and to the bottom right can be seen most of what we would now know as Lee Bank. Some of the small gardens that used to cover the area of Lee Bank are still there on the plan. Great Colmore Street is known here by its original name - the New Road to Smithfield Market.
