Description:Key Hill Cemetery lies at the edge of Birmingham's jewellery quarter and is the last resting place of many of the rich and famous of Birmingham. This exhibition includes some views of the cemetery, some of the graves and an article by Chris Upton on one of the burials.
This image is of the main gates and temple at Key Hill Cemetery. The temple was demolished in 1966 due to its unsafe condition. The cemetery layout was designed by Charles Edge (who is buried there. The boundary wall, railings, gates and piers are all now statutory Grade II listed by English Heritage.
