Description:Dockers' Paints took out this advert in the Evening Despatch congratulating Vivian Fuchs on his crossing of Antartica. Fuchs made use of Ferguson tractors for the journey - Dockers were responsible for the paintwork designed to withstand the tough conditions.

Fuchs was knighted for his achievement.
