Description:Article from the Evening Despatch on the closure of Bradshaw's Stores in Cregoe Street. The store closed in 1958 after 54 years open to the public. Bernard Bradshaw, the owner, had considered a new store in what he calls "the Regent Street style development" but this never happened. None of the ladies queueing in the photograph are named - does anybody out there know who they are?
