Description:Father Maguire came to St Catherine's from Tile Hill in Coventry during October 1961. Father Maguire oversaw the move from the old St Catherine's to the new building which stands to this day. He also organised the funding and opening of the memorial to President Kennedy in St Chad's Ringway and the memorial gates inside the church. Father Maguire died unexpectedly in 1969, his passing resulted in many tributes from those who knew him.
