Description:Latimer Street in 1958. Latimer ran from Great Colmore Street to the now also vanished Piggot Street. This view would seem to be the Piggot Street end. Piggot Street ran parallel to Cregoe Street along the line of Bexhill Grove.

Latimer Street was named after the English Martyr Hugh Latimer who was burned at the stake in the sixteenth century.
