Description:This photograph shows Sycamore Farm (the buildings in the foreground), not visible, behind the farm is Alexandra Road and the house in the centre is the house once owned by William Murdock. The children are standing on Queen's Head Road. The Blue Circle Cement Works now occupies the site.
