Description:"Denise Lewis was born in Wolverhampton, 1972. A member of the Alexander Stadium's Birchfield Harriers, she has become one of the most successful heptathletes in the world. In 1994 Lewis won gold at the Commonwealth Games, in 1996 a bronze at the Atlanta Olympics and World Championship silver in 1997. Denise Lewis went on to bring home a gold medal, after overcoming an achilles injury at the Sydney Olympics in 2000." Pogus Caesar, February 2003
