Description:"Steven Kapur aka Apache Indian born 1967, Handsworth, Birmingham. For well over a decade he has skillfully fused Bhangra and Reggae to achieve international chart success, including seven British Top 40 hits including 'Chok There', 'Boomshakalak' and the controversial 'Arranged Marriage'. The 2002 album 'Storm' has collaborations with UB40 and Boyz II Men. He has presented TV and Radio programmes including 'Apache goes India', a 6 part documentry shown on Channel 4, 1995. In recent years he has set up the 'Apache Indian Foundation' , a charity supporting the needs of homeless children." Pogus Caesar, February 2003
