Description:Programme for an event held on April 4th 1877 at the church. The church was opened on 22nd November 1876 and eventually sold in 1974 when a new centre was was established at Oaklands in Winleigh Road, Handsworth. The sect to which Wretham Road New Church belonged were popularly known as Swedenborgians, from the theological writings of the 18th century Swedish scientist and philosopher, Emanuel Swedenborg. This print was by F. Grew - a lithographer and printer from Dale End in Birmingham.
