Date:1792
Description:This overdoor panel was found in the Drawing Room at Soho House, the former home of industrialist Matthew Boulton. Prior to opening the house as a museum extensive survey work was undertaken to provide evidence to create period style rooms as they had been in Boulton's day. When this paper was removed from the wall a duty stamp and date of 1792 were found on the reverse. This paper was therefore reproduced.
