Date:8th of October 1888

Description:Mr Albert Blanchard confessed to being Jack The Ripper and was arrested and appeared at Birmingham Magistrates. Blanchard was clearly not Jack at all but his conduct concerned the police enough to arrest him. His given address is printed with minor errors - Roland Grove and Road have no "W" in their names. Blanchard's trial continued the following day......
