Description:The committee in November 1929 responsible for setting up the Fancy Fair held at the New Inns Assembly Rooms between the 20th and 23rd. The members were: Reverend T.S. Cave (chairman),Reverend J.R. Wardle, Mrs Cox, Mrs Dowler, Mrs Firkin, Mrs Garratt, Mrs Gorman, Mrs Moreton, Mrs F. Smith, Mrs T.S. Smith, Mrs Ward, Miss I.E.M. Batson, Miss G. Franklin, Miss Kemshall, Miss J. King, Miss M.J. Peaty, Miss M.B. Peaty, Miss Shum, Miss Bessie Smith, Mr J.W. Child, Mr P.W. Cox, Mr H. Firkin, Mr J.C.H. Meggett, Mr E.H. Moreton, Mr E.B. Morgan, Mr A.R. Round, Mr G.N. Round, Mr W.H. Taylor, Mr H.E. Targett, Mr Harry Cartwright (Hon. Secretary) and Mr Edward H. Ward (Hon. Treasurer).
