Description:This pub was named the Boar's Head after the Gough family coat of arms which shows a boars head. It was built in 1758 and demolished in 1936. The present Boar's Head is on a slightly different site.

This watercolour is by Warren Blackham who was working between 1870 and 1900. He was a member of the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists and exhibited 41 paintings.
