Description:This medal was produced by Matthew Robinson Boulton to commemorate his father.

The obverse shows Boulton based on a wax portrait by Peter Rouw. Below this there are two cherubs with a model or drawing of the Soho Manufactory.

The wording on the reverse is from the memorial to Boulton in St Mary's Church. It reads
