Description:Handsworth Grammar School for Boys, Grove Lane, Handsworth. It was founded with a grant from the Bridge Trust and opened, as the Bridge Trust School, on 5th August 1862 with 59 pupils. The name was changed to Handsworth Grammar School in 1890.
