Description:Brownes Green house was demolished at the end of the nineteenth century. It was built towards the end of the eighteenth century by Nathaniel Clarke and stood to the rear of a triangle with Handsworth Wood Road and Englestede Close. The precise location of the Keeper's cottage is not stated but there was also a lodge to the house which remains standing.
