Description:Watercolour sketch of the Moors circa 1879. Built by John Goode Esq. in the early nineteenth century, the house and fields stood between Church and Grove Lanes.

Later it was the home of Dr Hedley Tomlinson, who bred hackney horses. It housed Belgian refugees during the First World War and was used as a nursing home before it was demolished in the late 1920s.
