Description:They moved into the new site at Rookery Road, on 8 November 1999, from the old building on Stafford Road. It houses 2 appliances and is also an ambulance base, who rent the space on site. It has the following facilities: training building, conference room, appliance room, kitchen facilities, recreational area: darts, washing facilities, locker rooms and bedrooms.
The current staff is made up of 52 fire fighters covering 4 watches: 13 on each; 4 station officers, 4 sub officers, 4 leading firemen 40 fire fighters.
Stafford Road. This site served the community for 68 years. It was first opened 1931, which then was a new building, which replaced the previous building.

The Community ‘Safety ‘ Center of Excellence.

Through education their present projections include to highlight the awareness to reduce domestic fires, false alarms, and the dangers of fire.
Facilities include reception area, 4 offices Conference room, Computer training room, interview room, Presentation theatre which is owned by the community. These facilities rooms are available for the community to hire to use for venues, meetings and conferences (room hire costs are available by contacting the center).

The Police also have an office here to develop rehabilitation and offer probation services. During the school half term, six weeks holiday Police officer Mark Pickering organized a playscheme. Birmingham Bullets, West Bromwich Albion football team members became involved in the scheme, offering coaching, and encouraging the youth to attend, participate in the scheme.
