Description:Roy Douglas Handsworth sculptor began sculpting when he was at home recovering from an illness and a friend brought him a coconut. Coming from a background where a use had to be found for everything, he began to look at the coconut shell in a different way, and his first sculpture was born. He is seen here pictured with his lawman sculpture. The lawman has his gun, his cane, his hat and his pipe, he is a very important man. In true Roy Douglas form, he is not only a sculpture, his pouch is also a little box for keeping things in.
