Description:Printed postcard, with illustration of an air ship called 'America', with address printed to side '466 5th Ave., Brooklyn, New York'. On reverse, written in hand, 'With Compliments of the inventor, to Lieut. Lempriere, Birmingham, England'.

Lieutenant Lempriere lived at 169 Hunter's Road in Handsworth and thrilled audiences across the UK with his aeronautical displays.

Possibly this card was sent to him to advertise the company's product?
