Description:"Mighty Diamonds on Soho Hill, Handsworth. The group are a vocal harmony trio from Jamaica, consisting of, Donald 'Tabby' Shaw, Fitzroy 'Bunny' Simpson and Lloyd 'Judge' Ferguson. Formed in 1969, they were relatively unknown until 1974 when DJ Jah Lion produced their first hit 'Shame and Pride' .They followed up with the album 'Right Time' released in 1975, since then they have recorded unforgettable songs including 'I Need A Roof', 'Country Living' 'Identity' and the heart rendering classic' Danger in Your Eyes'. The group's most famous hit was 'Pass The Kutchie' later re recorded as 'Pass The Dutchie' , in 1982 it achieved a British No 1 for Birmingham band Musical Youth, the single eventually sold in excess of 4 million records."
