Description:Frederick "Spittle's Noted Boots" traded at 155 Soho Road and 78 Hunter's Road. There are a few Spittle's listed in the Trade Directories of the period, all of whom lived in and around Handsworth. The advert is taken from the brochure for the Handsworth Church Bazaar in October 1893.
