Description:Heathfield was the former residence of the inventor and engineer James Watt. Following his death the house had several occupiers including local luminaries Thomas Pemberton and George Tangye. In the bottom left corner the message reads "With Best Wishes from Heathfield". The card is undated but it is likely to date from the time of George Tangye who was the house's final resident.
