Description:An engraving by T. Radclyffe from an original drawing by F. Calvert. This was published by W. Emans of Bromsgrove Street in Birmingham. The caption credits it as the seat of the Gough family who were the most famous owners, living there from 1669 to 1844 after which it passed to their cousins the Gough-Calthorpes. The house would have stood on and around the site of the boating lake in Perry Hall Playing Fields.
