Description:This newscutting tells of a young lady from Perry Barr who had ventured out in her furs for the first time that autumn. As she got on the tram and passed down the car the other passengers began to blink and sneeze. It became apparent that when she put her furs away for the summer she had put pepper on them to keep the moths away and had not removed it before wearing them!

From the G.H. Osborne collection of newscuttings.
