Description:At this date there were a large number of complaints about the quality of the tram service from Perry Barr into Birmingham. This cutting from the East Birmingham News is a poem about a youth who wanted to go from Perry Barr into Birmingham one day. He got onto a tram and by the time he had got to Birmingham had grown white haired and old!
