Description:A newspaper cutting from the Birmingham Weekly Post, September 30th 1905.
The article shows an illustration and description of a four legged chicken.
The bird was one of a hatch of Plymouth Rock chickens bred by a Mr A.Barker of 468 Birchfield Road ,Perry Barr.
The unfortunate creature did not survive for long.
This item is typical of the strange trivia that would appear in the press during this period.
