Description:The photograph depicts the side of this grand house and some of the garden.

Little is known about the history of The Old Grey House, though a request for information has brought forward the description that 'the frontage of the property was served by two wooden gates - a sort of in and out arrangement. There was a wooden doored garage to the left [...] In the grounds were two long glass houses. I think they were about 50 feet each, wooden framed upon low brick walls [...] The staircase was wide, wooden and very beautiful. There was a turnback
half way up and the stained glass window in [this] picture was at this level [...] The two original gate openings to the house have survived to this day'.
