Description:There has been a Church Hill House since 1538. The house on the site now was extensively remodelled around 1820. The Muntz family lived here for some years in the late eighteenth century.

It then became a private hotel. Initially called Hill House Hotel it became the Endwood Hotel in the 1930s and was bought by Butlers of Wolverhampton in 1937 for use as a public house named the Endwood. It is still a public house today. This photograph was taken in the 1950s.
