Description:It was built in 1658 as a farmhouse, becoming a gentlemen's residence about 1700. It was eventually demolished in 1937 as part of the "Grestone development". One notable owner was Frederick Arthur Walton who had the biggest collection of cacti in Britain. His collection eventually passed to Joseph Chamberlain MP who lived at Highbury in Kings Heath, Birmingham.
