Description:The Villa Cross Picture House was built in 1912 under the management of Irving Bosco and it was known then as the New Picture House. On 20th April 1970 it closed, re-opening as an Asian cinema for a time. Later it was for some years a Bingo & Social Club. During the Handsworth disturbances of the 1980's the building was burned out and later demolished.
