Date:18th of May 1931

Description:The forecourt of a Shell petrol station in College Road, Perry Barr, on 18th May 1931. This was presumably the Perry Garage, located where College Road crosses the Tame Valley Canal. At this date work was continuing on the new canal bridge, which may explain the presence of a road roller in the background.
