Description:The Birchfield, on the corner of Bragg Road and Birchfield Road, was opened in about 1912 and closed down on 3rd March 1962. For some years it was used as a greengrocer's, and until the 1990's it was a branch of MFI. It is now (2003) the PAK Supermarket.
