Description:Birchfield Road, Perry Barr, looking north towards the junction of the Walsall and Aldridge Roads. In the distance a small traffic jam is apparently being caused by a steamroller, while a lorry marked 'Atkinsons' may well be headed for the Old Crown & Cushion as this was the brewery that ran it. In the centre, out of sight, the railway line passes beneath the road, Perry Barr Station being off the picture to the left.
