Description:The cinema was designed and built by Harry Weedon and opened on July 22nd 1935. It eventually closed in December 1962 and, like many other cinemas, re-opened as a Bingo Hall. The film showing is "Lives Of A Bengal Lancer" starring Gary Cooper and Franchot Tone and directed by Henry Hathaway.
