Description:They had premises elsewhere too but this is their site on the corner of Ladypool and Taunton Road in the mid 1940's. In the foreground is a range of BSA motor cycles with sidecars.

Dougie Dulson recalls: "Our house was at 197 Highgate Road, opposite Jackson’s the boot menders. Over nearby shops included Palmers (greengrocers), Westwoods, Jones’s, Bennetts (newsagents) “at the top” just before Shovelbottoms (bicycles) opposite Derringtons (builders) by the top of Runcorn road just before the Brighton pub".
